Born and grew up in a coastal city in north of Iran that called Babolsar. Romina Abedi, who has a bachelor painting from Guilan Art University of Rasht; also explores a myriad of themes in her work. Sometimes borrowing from traditional painting, she immerses them in abstraction and ambiguity. She juxtaposed illustration with symbols of violence against animals and conflict. Romina Abedi employs the icons of situation of Noir genre film, infuses them with mysterious characters to create a visual narrative

Drawing my own self in a dark space is a way to imagine myself in my mother’s womb when I was a fetus, in addition I can imagine myself when in a tomb when I will be a dead.
