Romina Abedi

Born and grew up in a coastal city in north of Iran that called Babolsar. Romina Abedi, who has a bachelor painting from Guilan Art University of Rasht; also explores a myriad of themes in her work. Sometimes borrowing from traditional painting, she immerses them in abstraction and ambiguity. She juxtaposed illustration with symbols of violence against animals and conflict. Romina Abedi employs the icons of situation of Noir genre film, infuses them with mysterious characters to create a visual narrative
Letter to a child never born
The name of this collection is from a book which that is wrote by “Oriana Fallaci”. A sentence of this book is like this mean that probably live is better than never be exist. And some poems of “Mowlana Jalal ad-Din” are about this matter that all of us are as a fetus in womb of death. In this frames I wanted to illustrate an inverse world (non-existence world) in a dark vacuity.
